We used Christine Catering for a birthday party upon recommendation of a friend who had used the service for corporate events. Our home party with forty guests was a real success. This was in no small measure due to Christine’s personal attention and presence.

If imitation is a compliment then Christine’s services resulted not only in numerous personal expressions of appreciation but four or more of our guests booking her services after our modest event. These included a corporate reception, a “lavish” home party, and others. It’s very satisfying to have your guests express appreciation and then follow up with use of the same service.

Christine’s food was top notch both in terms of culinary quality and presentation. She read our needs and preferences accurately, interpreted them well and exceeded our expectations. The service from orientation through to clean up was thoughtful and thorough. Christine’s personal touch and presence was comfortable and “classy”. Her staff was at all times considerate and attentive to detail. Although it was a small house party the atmosphere was dignified and the guests were made to feel special. My wife, whose birthday we were celebrating was delighted by the service and felt the guests were totally looked after. This reflected Christine’s attention to detail and subtle supervision as she oversaw the evening.

I have over the years used numerous caterers for events ranging from hundreds in a corporate setting to home wedding receptions. This ranked with the best. The prices were reasonable and excellent value for the money.

We have waited to express our appreciation until our guests proved our choice to be right. Christine Catering is small but first class. We have and will continue to recommend it to our friends.

Everything was wonderful. Our guest were very impressed with the selection and quality of the food. You received rave reviews for the onion tarts, turkey bites, shrimp veggie rolls and chocolate balls (to die for) as our guests most favourite fare. Because of the way that you packaged the food, it was very easy for Bruce and I to put everything out. Your instructions were so helpful and thank you for the extra serving platters. They made the presentation very co-ordinated in appearance. The whole evening was such a success. Thank you, thank you, thank you! It is a joy working with you. Bruce and I feel very fortunate to have connected with you, your husband and your staff.

My guests were extremely impressed by the creativity in the presentation of the food items that Christine provided. The spring rolls laid out just so in the basket, the cedar boards for the Romesco cones, the fruit skewers forming a "floral" centrepiece in their own glass jar. Very original and appreciated. Healthy food that looks great too - a great combination for someone that is as health conscious as I am. I wanted to show my friends that you can still provide fancy impressive food displays with health choices.
